eNPS survey template

Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) asks one deceptively simple question: how likely are you to recommend this company as a place to work? Scored 0–10, answers split employees into promoters (9–10), passives (7–8), and detractors (0–6). Your eNPS is the percentage of promoters minus the percentage of detractors, giving a single benchmarkable number between −100 and +100.

This template pairs the standard eNPS question with an open follow-up so you learn not just the score but the reason behind it. How is eNPS calculated?
Respondents answer on a 0–10 scale. Scores of 9–10 are promoters, 7–8 are passives, 0–6 are detractors. eNPS = % promoters − % detractors, producing a score from −100 to +100. MindSafe calculates this automatically.
What is a good eNPS score?
Anything above zero means you have more promoters than detractors. Scores above +20 are generally considered strong and above +50 excellent, but the trend across quarters matters more than any single number.
Should an eNPS survey be anonymous?
Yes. Employees give honest 0–6 scores only when they trust the answer cannot be traced back to them. MindSafe keeps responses anonymous and withholds all results until at least five people have responded.
How often should we run an eNPS survey?
Quarterly is the most common cadence — frequent enough to catch shifts, rare enough to avoid survey fatigue. Because it is only two questions, completion takes under a minute.
